Ashanti African Tours is West Africa’s leading responsible travel company. Since our foundation, we have been committed to providing professionally organized, award-winning tours that celebrate the region’s wildlife, people, and culture while supporting conservation and community development.
Ashanti African Tours are a local Ghanaian, family owned business who have been operating sustainably organised award winning tours across West Africa for over 20 years. Millicent Addo Williams is a proud Akuapem from Aburi in the Eastern Region of Ghana. Kojo Connor Williams, Millicent’s stepson and a proud Ashanti from Kumasi is committed to the continued growth of Ashanti African Tours, whilst ensuring the very best experience for our clients and partner agencies.

Our Team
We employ over twenty local guides who are experts in West Africa’s flora, fauna, history, and culture. They are fluent in English, French, and German, and are trained and certified in advanced first aid by the West African Rescue Association. Their professionalism and passion ensure every trip is safe, educational, and unforgettable.

To date, we have donated over $135,000 USD to community and environmental projects. We Offset Your Trips Carbon Footprint
For every traveller, we plant three indigenous forest trees. These trees more than offset the carbon from a return flight to West Africa, by over fifteen times if they reach maturity. Each tree absorbs around 48 pounds of carbon per year and can live for centuries. By protecting and maintaining these forests, we ensure every journey with Ashanti contributes to a cleaner, healthier planet.
